Vayu Veer Vijeta Car Rally To Be Organised From Thoise In Ladakh To Tawang In Arunachal Pradesh
A mega Vayu Veer Vijeta car rally is being organised from Thoise in Ladakh to Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh to mark the 92nd anniversary of the Indian Air Force on the 8th of next month.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will give a send-off to the 7000-kilometre car rally from the National War Memorial on the 1st of next month in New Delhi before it is formally flagged off from Ladakh.
The rally will culminate at Tawang on 29th October. The Ministry of Defence, in a statement, said that the aim of the rally is to raise awareness among the people about the glorious history of the IAF, the deeds of valour of the air warriors in different wars and rescue operations, and attract the youth to serve the motherland.
