The Government today revoked the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) stage-III curbs in Delhi and NCR. The decision was taken after there was a slight improvement in the air quality due to the light rain in the entire NCR region.

As per the Central Pollution Control Board, today the average Air Quality index clocked at 312 in the National Capital. Meanwhile, stage I and stage II of GRAP shall continue to monitor all the agencies’ concerns in the entire NCR to make sure the AQI level does not further dip.

The Commission for Air Quality Management has asked all the agencies to strictly implement Stage I and Stage II.

According to the IMD, the overall air quality is likely to remain ‘very poor’ in the coming days. The weather agency has predicted a generally cloudy sky with the possibility of light rain in the next two days in the National Capital.
