India International Trade Fair in New Delhi witnesses huge footfall on Sunday

The ongoing India International Trade Fair in New Delhi witnessed a huge footfall on Sunday (26 November 2023) due to the holiday. It was the second last day of the ongoing 17-day fair, which began on 14th November.

The fervour is quite high exemplifying this year’s theme – Vasudhaiva Kutumbakham. Over 3000 exhibitors who are participating in the fair have succeeded in attracting maximum customers in the last leg of the trade fair. A diverse range of products at various stalls and pavilions are offered in the fair, which range from Khadi India Pavilion to Saras Ajeevika Mela.

Spread across 14 halls, the grand pavilions by Ministries and States of India along with 13 countries are showcasing key schemes, policies, live demonstrations, and a myriad of products, artifacts and handicrafts. This year, Bihar and Kerala are the Partner States while Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh are the Focus States.

Cultural events are also being held on the sidelines, displaying the rich culture of the states of India. The food stalls with special delicacies of every region are also witnessing heavy footfall. Entry to the fair is free for Divyang and Senior citizens.
