Hyderabad: Bhavan’s Students Gain Valuable Insight During Academic Visit to GITAM
Bhavan’s Public School VIDYASHRAM, in Film Nagar, Hyderabad, on Saturday organized an academic visit for its +2 standard students to GITAM Deemed to be University. The visit aimed to provide the students with a comprehensive understanding of the university’s campus facilities, infrastructure, labs, sporting facilities, Knowledge Resource Centre (Library), and the opportunity to interact with faculty members to plan their future studies.
More than 130 students participated in the visit, which allowed them to gain firsthand knowledge of GITAM’s operations, programs on offer, and the different schools available, including Technology, Science, Management, Humanities, Pharmacy, and Architecture. The visit also highlighted the university’s policies, plans, and accomplishments for the growth and development of its students.
To make the visit more engaging and informative, Bhavan’s students were divided into three teams, with each team visiting various engineering branches such as Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil, Mechanical, and Aerospace Engineering. Additionally, a project expo was specially arranged for the students by GITAMites, showcasing the innovative projects and research conducted at the university. Professors from different departments delivered concise presentations lasting three minutes each, providing valuable insights into their respective fields.
Dr. K. Shiva Kumar, Head-Admissions, expressed his gratitude to the students for choosing to visit GITAM and encouraged them to be inspired by the experiences and information gained during their time at the university. He extended his congratulations to the children and wished them the best of luck for their bright future.
