Railways generates nearly Rs 67 lakh through disposal of office scrap

The Ministry of Railways has generated nearly 67 lakh rupees through the disposal of office scrap under its Special Campaign 3.0.

The campaign was launched by the Ministry on the 1st of October and has conducted more than 5,200 cleanliness campaigns till 13th October.

Railway has set a target of 10,722 Cleanliness Campaigns to be conducted by the end of October. The Ministry said, the special focus on scrap disposal has resulted in freeing up nearly four lakh square feet of office space.
