Over 100 delegates, International Organisations participate in 3rd ETWG in Mumbai

On the second day of the 3rd Energy Transitions Working Group Meeting (ETWG) in Mumbai, over 100 delegates representing G20 member countries and special invitee countries deliberated on six priority areas, outlined under India’s Presidency.

The priority areas include Energy transition through addressing technology gaps, Low-cost financing for energy transition, Energy security and diversified supply chains,

Energy efficiency industrial low carbon transitions and responsible consumption, Fuels for Future and Universal access to clean energy and just, affordable and inclusive energy transition pathway.
 
On the sidelines of the ETWG, three seminars titled ‘Small Modular Reactors for Clean Energy Transition’, ‘Off-Shore Wind’ and ‘Sharing global policies and best practices to decarbonize Hard to Abate sectors’ were organised.
 
Under India’s Presidency, four ETWG meetings have been planned. The first two ETWG meetings were held in Bengaluru and Gandhinagar.
