Manipur: Flight with 72 people arrives in Hyderabad, another 34 people on the way
Telangana State Government has brought back 72 people including students and a 5-day-old baby by a direct flight from Imphal to Hyderabad. Another 34 people are reaching Hyderabad via Kolkata this evening.
Following directions from Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, Chief Secretary of the State Shanti Kumari has formed a special working group with round a clock control room in the DGP office to help the stranded students and other persons.
Students studying in NIT, IIIT, JIMS, Manipur Agriculture University with distressed civilians including a 5-day-old baby with parents, native of Bhaisa town of Nirmal District have been safely brought back.
