Telangana: Tiger movements in Arepalli vicinity: 24-hour surveillance with thermal drones

Siddipet: The Telangana Forest Department is continuously monitoring the movements of the tiger roaming around Arepalli village. Officials said that steps are being taken to ensure that the people do not face any inconvenience and the tiger does not get harmed.

Thermal imaging drones have been put into use to observe the tiger movements and 24-hour surveillance has been set up. They said that they are receiving information in real time through drones and taking immediate action where necessary.

At the same time, awareness programs are being organized in the villages and villagers are advised to strictly follow the precautions prescribed by the Forest Department. They are asked not to go out alone at night and to take care of the livestock.

In addition to deploying patrol teams to effectively manage the situation, an expert rescue team from Pune is also on alert. The Forest Department revealed that efforts are underway to ensure that the tiger naturally moves towards the forest area
