Chief Minister Shri Revanth Reddy stated that the people’s government has become even closer to the people through the Praja Palana – Pragati Pranalika program undertaken from March 16 to June 12. The Chief Minister held a review meeting at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Secretariat on the programs conducted across the state for 99 days.
He inquired with officials about the programs undertaken department-wise and the results achieved through them. Rajya Sabha MP Vemnarenderredy, TelanganaCS K. Ramakrishna Rao,
TelanganaDGP CV Anand, along with senior officials from various departments, participated in this meeting. On this occasion, the respective departments submitted reports on the details of programs undertaken from the district level to the village level.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated the departments that actively participated in the 99-day action plan. He reminded them of his earlier directive that all senior officials, from principal secretaries to district collectors, should visit the field level every month. He instructed the Chief Secretary to report to him about officials and district collectors who do not go on field tours.
He directed that feedback from public representatives and the people in the programs conducted at various levels should be recorded, and the departments concerned should also resolve the problems that arise in villages. He said that all development works undertaken, foundation-laying ceremonies performed, and asset details during these 3 months should be recorded.
If there are still villages in the state without gram panchayat buildings, the Chief Minister directed the Panchayat Raj officials to prepare that list immediately. He said they should also prepare an action plan to take up construction of new gram panchayat buildings there. He stated that solar power plants should be set up on all school buildings.
He clearly stated that facial recognition systems should be implemented at all levels in the education and health departments. He said that the same attendance system should be followed for all employees, from schools to colleges, from PHCs to Osmania and Gandhi Hospitals.
Just as a review was conducted on the 99-day action plan at the state level, he directed that reviews should be held immediately district-wise. He said that a senior IAS officer should be appointed as a special officer from the state level and sent to each district for these reviews. He stated that these progress reports should be released district-wise.
Along with districts, officials were directed to prepare details of the beneficiaries who have received the schemes being implemented by the government constituency-wise, mandal-wise, and village-wise, as well as the details of development works undertaken by the people’s government. He said these should be made available on the dashboard.
After taking over as Chief Minister, the Chief Minister questioned the officials on district tours and the implementation of promises made to the people in government programs. He directed the Planning Department to submit a report on the progress of Chief Minister’s promises constituency-wise.
