National Conference on “The Dynamics of False Cases” at KSPP–GITAM

Kautilya School of Public Policy, at GITAM Deemed to be University, will host a two-day National Conference titled “The Dynamics of False Cases” on 21–22 August 2026 in Hyderabad.

The conference will bring together academics, legal practitioners, policymakers, and civil society experts to examine the discourse, history, empirics, and social impact of allegations termed “false cases,” with particular attention to gender, law enforcement practices, and public perceptions.

The event aims to foster evidence-based dialogue on the misuse-of-law narrative, its implications for justice systems, and its broader societal consequences, while encouraging comparative insights from other jurisdictions.

Abstract submission deadline: 20 February 2026
Selection intimation: 28 February 2026
Online presentations of selected abstracts: 5–14 March 2026
Final acceptance of abstracts: 20 March 2026
Draft paper submission: 15 May 2026
Feedback on drafts: 15 June 2026
Revised paper submission: 1 August 2026
The conference will be held at the KSPP campus in Hyderabad, with in-person participation for presenters from India and limited online participation for international scholars.
