On Monday, April 20, 2026, officials presented the three awards won by the Water Board to its Managing Director (MD), Ashok Reddy. At the headquarters in Khairatabad, Technical Director Sudarshan, CGMs Kiran Kumar and Raja Sekhar, PRO Subhash, and Groundwater Expert Satyanarayana met with the MD to hand over the awards.
The Water Board secured one first prize and two other awards in various state-level competitions organized by the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI). These competitions covered categories such as ‘Best Brochure,’ ‘Corporate Documentary Film Production,’ and ‘Best Layout and Design’ for a poster.
These awards were presented on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the PRSI Telangana Public Relations Conference held at the Tourism Plaza in Begumpet, Hyderabad. The honors were conferred jointly by Retired IAS Officer K.V. Ramanachari, Telangana Press Academy Chairman Srinivasa Reddy, Special Commissioner of the Telangana Department of Information and Public Relations Priyanka (IAS), and Professor Nageshwar.
