GITAM School of Technology, Hyderabad hosted its much-awaited Fresher’s Party, ‘CLELESTIA 2026’, on August 14, welcoming the 2026-27 batch engineering students with a vibrant celebration filled with music, dance, entertainment, and camaraderie.
The event provided a lively platform for the freshers to interact with their seniors and peers, build new friendships, and become part of the GITAM community. The campus came alive with energetic cultural performances, engaging games, music, and a host of fun-filled activities, creating a festive and carnival-like atmosphere.
A major highlight of the celebration was the glamorous ramp walk, where the freshers showcased their confidence, poise, personality, and style. The enthusiastic participation and spirited performances captivated the audience. The celebrations reached their grand finale with the much-awaited crowning of Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher, who were felicitated by GITAM leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries appreciated the efforts of the student organizers for creating an engaging and welcoming platform for the new students. They noted that ‘CELESTIA 2026’ not only provided an opportunity for the freshers to showcase their talents but also fostered team spirit, friendship, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging to the GITAM community.
