South Central Railway To Operate 854 Special Trains To Meet Festive Travel Demand

In response to the high demand for travel during the festive season, South Central Railway (SCR) is operating 854 special trains this year, a substantial increase from last year’s 626, to provide passengers with a smooth and convenient travel experience. A total of 29 special trains are running across the zone today.

Additionally, to manage the extra rush, SCR has scheduled 16 Jansadharan (Unreserved) Special Trains between Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada, catering to peak travel dates in November. The key special trains departing from various destinations today are servicing prominent locations including Tirupati, Kacheguda, Kakinada, Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Visakhapatnam, Gorakhpur, Bengaluru, and Patna among others.
