NTPC entered into MOU with GHMC Hyderabad for supporting in the Illumination project at iconic Charminar

NTPC entered into MOU with GHMC Hyderabad for supporting in the Illumination project at the iconic Charminar of Hyderabad at its office at Kavadiguda, Secunderabad. This initiative of NTPC is a step towards promoting and restoring iconic landmarks and heritage buildings of India.

This MOU is an initiative for the developmental & beautification works at Charminar Hyderabad under “Swachh Iconic Places Project “of Govt of India under NTPC CSR . NTPC,SRHQ is collaborating with GHMC to promote and preserve the ancient heritage of the city of Hyderabad

The MOU was signed by Shri Akhil Patnaik, AGM(HR) NTPC SHRQH on behalf of NTPC and Shri G. Guruveera, Chief Engineer, QQSUDA (Quli Qutub Shah Urban Development Authority) who will be executing the work on behalf of GHMC.

The project will consist of architecture lighting from Nayapool to Charminar, Laad Bazaar, Four Arches and around the Iconic Places. The project on execution will provide a facelift to the famed Charminar which is an iconic identity of the Pearl city Hyderabad
