PM Modi Will Announce Package For Relief And Rehabilitation Of Flood-Hit Assam Very Soon: Union Minister Manohar Lal 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will announce a package for the relief and rehabilitation of flood-hit Assam very soon, said Union Minister of Power, Housing and Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal in Guwahati on Tuesday.

Talking to media persons after Chairing review meetings of Power and Urban Ministers from the North-East Region States, Mr. Lal said that the Union Government is committed to help the flood affected people of Assam. He informed that damage assessment of flood is going on in the State and the PM will announce the Package after completion of the assessment.

The Union Minister also chaired review meetings with the Power and Urban Ministers of North-Eastern Region (except Arunachal Pradesh) on the Missions and Schemes of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and Power sectors.
