A grand display of talent and determination is underway at the 37th National Games in Goa

The grand show of talent and determination is going on at the prestigious sporting event the 37th National Games in Goa. The competition of sports like Weightlifting, Table Tennis, Pencak Silat, Artistic Gymnastic and many others are underway and some are concluded.

In the competition of weightlifting at  Purnima Pandey of Uttar Pradesh clinched the gold medal in the 87 Women’s lifting a total weight of 222 Kg. In the final event of the weightlifting competition, in the 109 category Men, Vipan Kumar of SSCB won the gold lifting an aggregate weight of 348 Kg.

The Women Artistic gymnastic – Apparatus won by Pranati S Naik of Odisha and that of men won by Saif Sadik Tamboli of Services. Maharashtra is leading the medal table in the National Games 2023 with 85 medals, Haryana is on second position with 34 medals, while defending champion Services is placed at the third place with 21 medals.
