Telangana Assembly Elections: BRS, Congress release candidates list for all 119 seats

In Telangana, the two major political parties–the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party and the Congress have picked up the campaigning as the date for filing of nominations is nearing.

The BJP is struggling to convey to the people that it is a party to reckon with. Though BJP senior leaders including Home Minister Amit Shah and Minister Smriti Irani addressed meetings, the campaigning is yet to pick up steam.

The ruling BRS and Congress have released their candidates’ list for almost all the 119 seats, but the BJP is yet to release the names of the remaining candidates.

The Party released its first list of 52 candidates and revoked the suspension of the controversial Goshamahal BJP MLA Raja Singh. The Party released a second list with just one name.
 
There is, however, one final list that is expected to be out in a week. The nomination process for Telangana Assembly elections will start on the 3rd of November.
