Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekawat, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, several other cabinet ministers, and a large number of saints graced the event. Mr. Yogi said that Deepotsav has not only become a big event for Ayodhya and Uttar Pradesh, but has also become a unique event for the country and the world. He added that this is the first Deepotsav in Ayodhya after the Ram temple inauguration, which is a moment of pride for us all.

Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that the perspective of the world towards India has changed. With the pace at which the nation has progressed, the whole world is looking towards India. India’s knowledge, tradition, yoga, Ayurveda, and culture are being recognised in the whole world today. After the establishment of Lord Shri Ram’s temple, India’s good fortune is rising again.

Yesterday’s Deepotsav is a day of resolution for us that we will make this country the most powerful, prosperous, and capable country in the world. CM Yogi Aditynath said that this year is special and divine for Ayodhya, as the 500-year wait ended this year on January 22 and Lord Ram returned to the newly constructed temple. This is a moment for us to remember those who dedicated their entire lives to the Ram Janmabhoomi movement.

CM added that this double-engine government not only makes promises but also fulfils them. He said that everything the government promised regarding Ayodhya after 2017 has been fulfilled. The newly transformed image of Ayodhya is capturing global attention today. Development projects worth Rs. 31 thousand crores are completed or going on in Ayodhya.

Ayodhya is shining. CM and Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat offered prayers at Shri Ram temple and participated in Saryu aarti. Before Deepotsav, they also launched the tourism app and released the book written by Ayodhya Mayor. A grand drone and laser show was also organised to mark the occasion.
