Centre Establishing Steel Industry to Increase Greenery to Reduce Carbon Emissions
Minister of Steel and Heavy Industries, H. D. Kumaraswamy, today planted a sapling under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign in Delhi.
Speaking to the media, Mr. Kumaraswami said that wherever the government is establishing the steel industry, it is encouraging to increase greenery to reduce carbon emissions.
He added that this will help India reach the targets set at the Paris Agreement and achieve net zero emissions by 2030.
