The Minister expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Union Home Minister Amit Shah for his timely intervention in resolving the issues faced by the Rural Development Trust (RDT) regarding its FCRA status.

The Minister expressed his delight in announcing that the Ministry of Home Affairs has renewed RDT’s FCRA registration. He noted that this would enable the organization to continue providing its invaluable services to the public.

The Minister highlighted that, for decades, RDT has served the Anantapur region like an extended family through its impactful work in the fields of education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.

The Minister stated that this positive outcome stands as a testament to the sustained efforts undertaken under the guidance of the Honorable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, and the Honorable Minister for IT & HRD, Nara Lokesh.

Furthermore, the Minister drew Amit Shah’s attention to the severe issue of coastal erosion occurring at the estuaries of the Nagavali and Vamsadhara rivers in the villages of PG Peta and Kalingapatnam. He requested support from the National Disaster Mitigation Fund (NDMF) for both immediate remedial measures and long-term preventive strategies to curb the escalating land erosion.

The Minister extended his thanks to the Honorable Home Minister, Amit Shah, for his positive response and continued support in addressing key issues concerning Andhra Pradesh.
