TGFDC to organize Rock Bay Nature Camp and Bird Walk on Feb 28 to March 1st at Forest Trek Park Manchirevula, Hyderabad

The Telangana Forest Development Corporation (TGFDC) is organizing Rock Bay Nature Camp at Forest Trek Park, Manchirevula, Hyderabad on Saturday, 28th February 2026, from 4:00 PM to Sunday, 1st March 2026, 10:00 AM.

The Nature Camp is designed to provide participants with an immersive outdoor experience combined with environmental education and adventure-based learning. The camp activities include Team Building activities, Tent Pitching, Nocturnal Walk (guided night walk in the forest), Night Camping, Campfire, Early Morning Bird Watching, Trekking and Nature Trail explorations. Participants will be provided with Evening Snacks, Dinner and Breakfast as part of the camp package.

In addition, TGFDC will conduct a “Bird Walk” programme on Sunday, 1st March 2026, from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM at Forest Trek Park. The Bird Walk is open to children and adults alike. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about bird species identification, nesting habitats, ecological preferences, feeding habits, flight patterns and social behaviour of birds. The session will be led by experienced Bird Experts and Naturalists who will provide detailed interpretation and guided observation.

Speaking on the occasion, the Executive Director, Eco-Tourism of TGFDC, L. Ranjith Naik, IFS, stated that such initiatives aim to promote environmental awareness, encourage responsible eco-tourism and foster a deeper connection with nature among citizens.
