Telangana: Tiger movements near Arepalli: Tiger footprints identified, Forest Dept on alert
The Forest Department has been alerted in the vicinity of Arepalli village in Siddipet district. Officials said that fresh footprints have been identified about two kilometers northwest of the area where the tiger was seen yesterday. Tracking measures have been intensified immediately to ensure that there is no danger to the public.
Keeping in mind the situation, thermal imaging drones are being used for 24-hour monitoring. A special team of experts from Pune is conducting patrols along with local forest personnel. Awareness programs are being expanded at the field level in the villages and steps are being taken to ensure that people follow precautionary measures.
Officials said that the Forest Department is continuing comprehensive measures to provide a safe path for the tiger without causing any harm.
