Telangana Forest Dept grandly celebrates State Formation Day at Aranya Bhavan

Marking the occasion of Telangana State Formation Day, grand celebrations were organized at Aranya Bhavan, the headquarters of the Forest Department. The Head of Forest Force (PCCF & HoFF – FAC), Vinay Kumar, unfurled the national flag and received the ceremonial salute.

Speaking on the occasion, he recalled that numerous martyrs had sacrificed their lives for the realization of Telangana, and it is as a result of their sacrifices that the separate state of Telangana has emerged today. He noted that since its inception, the state has achieved rapid progress across all sectors, positioning Telangana at the forefront among all states in the country.

Highlighting the pivotal role played by the Forest Department in the state’s development, he stated that approximately 20 crore saplings are being planted annually through the ‘Vanamahotsavam’ program, with the ultimate goal of achieving a ‘Green Telangana.’

He further remarked that, by leveraging modern technology, the Forest Department is making exceptional efforts not only in the conservation and expansion of forest wealth but also in maintaining ecological balance. He affirmed that the Forest Department is effectively discharging its responsibilities in making Telangana greener and propelling it forward on the path of development.

Senior PCCF officer Ratnakar Jauhari, CCFs Kshitija and Priyanka Varghese, Hyderabad DFO Srinivas, Ranga Reddy DFO Rohit Gopidi, along with other senior officials, officers, and staff members, participated in this event.
