PCCF Dr. C. Suvarna Highlights the Significance of Gurramguda Reserve Forest Block
PCCF (HoFF) Dr. C. Suvarna noted that while *Vanamahotsavam* programs are typically held annually during June and July, hosting the event at the Gurranguda Reserve Forest this time was particularly special. She highlighted the government’s full support in preserving this forest area, which had been entangled in legal disputes for nearly 30 years. She proudly stated that they were able to protect these forests by engaging top-tier lawyers and fighting the case all the way to the Supreme Court.
PCCF said, the initiative to not only protect the Gurranguda forest but also develop it through large-scale tree plantation belongs to the Honorable Chief Minister, Sri Revanth Reddy. The PCCF explained that, guided by his vision, they are working to transform this area into a valuable green asset for future generations.
