Telangana: CAG-ICSSR will organize colloquium series on “Finance and Health sector of Telangana” on Feb 25
The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Telangana Chapter, in collaboration with the Office of the Comptroller & Auditor General (CAG) of India, is organizing the Telangana Chapter of the CAG–ICSSR Colloquium Series on “State of the Finances of Telangana” and “Health Sector of Telangana” on 25 February 2026 (Wednesday) from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Centenary Seminar Hall, Prof. G. Ram Reddy Centre for Distance Education, Osmania University, Hyderabad.
This colloquium aims to provide a platform for dialogue between academia, audit institutions, and policymakers to strengthen public financial management systems, enhance fiscal transparency, and address governance challenges in the health sector.

The colloquium will deliberate on Telangana’s fiscal health, revenue and expenditure trends, debt sustainability, and investment priorities, alongside a focused discussion on the performance of the health sector. The sessions will highlight how audit insights can be harnessed for evidence-based policy-making, mid-course corrections, and strengthening accountability in governance.
Interactive Q&A sessions will engage students, researchers, and practitioners, encouraging thought-provoking discussions on fiscal transparency and health sector reforms. The colloquium is expected to contribute to meaningful research and policy dialogues under the broader vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.
