Puducherry: NDA Leader N. Rangasamy to take oath as Chief Minister on Wednesday
Arrangements are underway for the swearing-in ceremony of NDA leader N. Rangasamy as the Chief Minister of Puducherry. Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan will administer the oath of office at a function to be held at Lok Nivas on Wednesday.
Union Minister and BJP election in charge Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, BJP National President Nitin Nabin, BJP Puducherry in charge Nirmal Kumar Surana and State BJP President V. P. Ramalingam will also participate in the swearing-in ceremony.
Senior BJP leaders who arrive in Puducherry tomorrow evening will be accorded a grand reception at the airport, followed by a vehicle rally. During the visit, Mr Nabin will also meet the newly elected BJP MLAs of the Union Territory and hold discussions with party office-bearers and legislators at the party headquarters.
