PCCF Vinay Kumar Assumes Charge as New Head of the Forest Force (HoFF), Telangana
Vinay Kumar, an IFS officer of the 1992 batch, assumed charge as the new Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF & HoFF) of the Telangana Forest Department on Tuesday at Aranya Bhavan in Hyderabad.
It is well known that the government recently appointed PCCF Vinay Kumar as the Head of the Forest Force (HoFF) on a Full Additional Charge (FAC) basis. Accordingly, he assumed charge on Tuesday evening from the outgoing PCCF, Dr. C. Suvarna.
Speaking on the occasion, the new PCCF (HoFF) Vinay Kumar stated that special focus would be placed on advancing eco-tourism development and ‘Haritha Nidhi’ (Green Fund) initiatives in Telangana. He added that action plans would continue to prioritize the conservation and development of the state’s forest wealth while fostering public participation.
