NTA issues guidelines for students appearing in NEET-UG Re-Exam: Pradhan urges students without fear

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued guidelines for students appearing in the NEET-UG re-examination today. Over 22.79 lakh candidates will sit for the exams in 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad. In a social media post, NTA said that entry to examination centres begins at 11 and examination centre gates will close at 1:30 in the afternoon.

It has asked the students to carry their admit cards and valid photo ID. The admit cards for the exam can be downloaded from www.neet.nta.nic.in. It has said that the admit cards of the 3rd May examination shall not be valid for entry today.

Education Minister Pradhan Urges Students to Appear for NEET-UG Re-Examination Without Fear

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today said that 22 lakh students are appearing for the NEET-UG re-examination. Talking to the media in New Delhi, he urged students to take the exam without fear and wished them the very best. The Education Minister also assured that all necessary arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of the examination.

Mr. Pradhan also said that the remaining CBSE examination results will be declared soon. He noted that the results of approximately 15.5 lakh students, out of a total of 17 lakh candidates, have already been announced. He added that the processes of re-evaluation, reassessment, and re-verification for students who had applied are nearing completion, and that the CBSE will publish the remaining results shortly. Mr. Pradhan assured that the government is committed to ensuring that students do not face any disruption or inconvenience.
