NEET UG 2026 Re-Examination to be held on June 21 (Tomorrow) Across 551 Cities
National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2026 re-examination is scheduled for tomorrow. The re-examination will be held across 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad for over 22.79 lakh candidates. Ahead of the examination, The National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted nationwide mock drills as part of preparations for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. The NTA said that it is fully prepared for the smooth, fair and transparent conduct of the examination.
Over two lakh personnel, including observers, coordinators, police forces and administrators, have been deployed for the secure, transparent and smooth conduct of the examination. A multi-layered security framework has been put in place to ensure a fair and transparent examination. It includes CCTV surveillance, Aadhaar-based biometric verification, GPS-enabled vehicles with police escort for the movement of examination materials and end-to-end secure handling of confidential materials to designated locations under sealed protocols.
The NTA is also actively monitoring social media platforms to curb misinformation and prevent malpractice. The examination will be held from 02:00 PM to 05:15 PM. An additional 15 minutes have been provided for completion of documentation, verification, and other examination-related formalities.
