NDA Govt privileged to fulfill aspirations of Middle Class: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the middle class of the country have contributed to nation-building in countless ways and the NDA Government is privileged to be working towards fulfilling the aspirations of them. In a social media post, Mr Modi noted that over the last decade, governance has increasingly focused on improving the quality of life of ordinary citizens. He added that the Government’s efforts focused on providing easier access to opportunities, better infrastructure, improved public services, affordable healthcare, quality education, cleaner cities and reduced burdens in everyday life.

BJP President Nitin Nabin today said that over the past 12 years, the government has made comprehensive changes to empower India’s middle class with economic security, better facilities, and new opportunities. In a social media post, Mr Nabin highlighted several policies undertaken by the government including tax relief through income tax reforms and transparency in the tax system via GST. He added that initiatives such as Ujjwala Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, and Swachh Bharat have also made basic life facilities accessible for citizens.

Mr Nabin further said the schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana have enabled people
with an opportunity to realize the dream of owning a home and health security from Ayushman Bharat. The BJP President noted that through such initiatives the government has empowered middle class consumers which has become a major force in India’s economy and is playing an important role in accelerating the resolve for Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat.
