MoS Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani Reviews Progress Of DAY-NRLM In Andhra Pradesh
Minister of State for Rural Development Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani today reviewed the progress of the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) in Andhra Pradesh.
In a social media post, Mr Pemmasani said that the meeting focused on strengthening the Self-Help Group (SHG) movement.
Reviewed the progress of DAY-NRLM in Andhra Pradesh along with AP MSME Minister Shri Kondapalli Srinivas and CEO SERP Andhra Pradesh, Ms. V. Karuna. Secretary, Rural Development and senior officers of the MoRD, GoI and Andhra Pradesh were present.
Focused on strengthening the SHG movement, expanding sustainable livelihood and income generation opportunities, and accelerating efforts to achieve the national target of 6 crore Lakhpati Didi, empowering rural women as pillars of Viksit Bharat.
