IMD Issues Orange Alert For Thunderstorms Accompanied By Lightning And Gusty Winds In Several States
India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds over Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Vidharbha for tomorrow.
The Met department has also predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds tomorrow over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Interior Karnataka, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, the North Eastern Region and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. Similar conditions are expected to prevail over Coastal Karnataka, East Rajasthan, Kerala, Mahe, Konkan and Goa tomorrow.
