IMD forecast of Heavy Rainfall and Storm Activity Across Multiple Regions
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over Gujarat Region, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, Odisha, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and West Madhya Pradesh today.
According to IMD, Madhya Maharashtra, Odisha and West Madhya Pradesh are expected to experience thunderstorms and hailstorms. The Met Department has predicted thunderstorms and lightning over Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Rajasthan till tomorrow.
For Delhi, IMD has forecast partly cloudy sky today with thunderstorms and lightning. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 35 to 37 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to hover around 24 to 26 degrees Celsius in the national capital today.
