Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) Celebrates Ambedkar Jayanti with great fever

Ambedkar’s 135th birth anniversary celebrations were held in Jalmandali . The event was organized under the auspices of Jalmandali SC & ST Welfare Association. It was held on Tuesday , 14.04.2026, at the Jalmandali head office in Khairatabad.

Jalamandali Cyberabad Executive Director Santosh and Personnel Director Mohammed Abdul Khader, who participated as the chief guests in these ceremonies, lit the lamp and offered flowers to the portrait of Ambedkar and paid their respects.

Speaking on the occasion, ED Santosh said… The architect of the Indian Constitution and Bharat Ratna Dr. BR Ambedkar was a great man who recognized the importance of water resources very early on and clearly stated that water is a key resource for the development of the country. His vision is the inspiration for the ideas of institutions like the National Water Commission today.

He also said that Ambedkar wanted water resources to be used scientifically and in a planned manner for all parts of the country and all sections of society , considering them as national wealth , and not restricted to certain areas or groups . That is why he urged everyone working in the Water Board to work towards water conservation , equitable distribution and efficient use.

Personnel Director Mohammed Abdul Khader said that Bharat Ratna Dr. Ambedkar played a key role in the framing of the Indian Constitution and provided the country with the basic principles of equality , freedom and justice. He also said that every government employee should put Ambedkar’s values ​​into practice and pay true tribute to him by doing justice to the people. He said that Bharat Ratna gave importance to equal rights , education and self-respect , and his ideas are very necessary for today’s society.
