Hyderabad: IPE conducts five-day capacity building program on Startups and Hortipreneurship for PG students (SKLTHU)

Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad is organizing a Five Day Capacity Building Programme on Startups and Hortipreneurship for the PG Students of Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University (SKLTHU) from 20th – 24th January 2026 at IPE, Shamirpet, Hyderabad.

Dr. D Raji Reddy, Vice-Chancellor of Sri Konda Laxman Telangana Horticultural University exhorted the students pursuing horticulture studies to contribute to the development of the country by becoming entrepreneurs.

He was addressing the students during the inaugural programme – Capacity Building Programme for “Startups and Hortipreneurship” being conducted by Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad. He further stated that by developing latest technologies in tune with soil, water and weather, the students can become pillars of growth in tune with the vision document of the Telangana Government.

Prof. S Sreenivasa Murthy, Director, Institute of Public Enterprise, has stated that horticulture holds a huge promise for entrepreneurs given the dependence of the people on farming in India. He further added that the students have immense opportunities to explore in the field of horticulture and should utilize funds meant for the development of horticulture sector.

Prof. D Raji Reddy, Vice-Chancellor of Sri Konda Laxman Telangana Horticultural University, Prof. S Sreenivasa Murthy, Director, IPE, Dr. A Bhagwan, Registrar & Comptroller, SKLTHU, Prof. Veeranjaneyulu, Consultant, Prof. A Sridhar Raj, Prof. MLN Rao and Dr. P Kalyani, IPE were at the inaugural programme. The programme is coordinated by Prof. S Sreenivasa Murthy and Prof. A Sridhar Raj and is attended by 30 M.Sc students of SKLTHU.
