The ACE Awards 2026 at GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad, celebrated excellence, innovation, and holistic student achievement, reflecting the institution’s vibrant and dynamic campus life. The event brought together students from across academic, cultural, and sporting domains.
The awards recognized outstanding accomplishments in categories such as Innovation & Technology, Creative Excellence, Social Impact, and Leadership. Sporting excellence was also honored through awards including Best Athlete (Men & Women), Team of the Year, Emerging Sports Talent, and Excellence in Sports Performance.
Student clubs and Special Interest Groups (SIGs) were acknowledged for their creativity, collaboration, and contributions to campus engagement, reinforcing a strong sense of community.
The initiative underscores GITAM’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded, future-ready individuals by encouraging excellence across academic and co-curricular spheres. The evening featured inspiring stories from awardees, fostering motivation and aspiration among peers.
Prof. D.S. Rao, Pro Vice-Chancellor; DVVSR Varma, Resident Director; and Ambika Philip, Director – Hospitality & Campus Life, graced the occasion and presented the awards. The event was coordinated by Fizah Ahmed, Manager, Student Life, and SurajVadapally, Manager, Sports.
