Grand Celebration of Sri Seetha Ramachandra Swamy kalyanotsavam at Bhadrachalam: CM Revanth Reddy Participates with Family
The celestial wedding ceremony (Tirukalyana Mahotsavam) of Lord Sri Seetharamachandra Swamy at Bhadrachalam was celebrated with great pomp and grandeur. Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy, accompanied by his family, participated in the festivities and, on behalf of the State Government, presented silk robes and pearl *Talambralu* (sacred pearls) to the deity. He offered his prayers to the Lord and received divine blessings.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Thummala Nageswara Rao, Konda Surekha, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Danasari Anasuya (Seethakka), and Vakiti Srihari—along with other public representatives, DGP B. Sivadhar Reddy, senior officials, and a multitude of devotees—participated in this celestial wedding ceremony held at the Mithila Stadium.
Earlier, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy performed the *Bhoomi Puja* (groundbreaking ceremony) for the first phase of development works, estimated at Rs 351 crore, aimed at the expansion of the Sri Seetharamachandra Swamy Temple. Under this initiative, works such as temple expansion and infrastructure development (at a cost of Rs 180 crore), development of the temple surroundings (Rs 96 crore), and development of the Godavari Ghat (Rs 75 crore) are set to be undertaken.
