Dr. P. Sridhar, Assistant Professor, Department of Accounting & Finance, GITAM School of Business, Hyderabad, has won First Place – Best Paper Award in the Finance Track at the International Conference on Business Innovation and Transformation (ICFBIT 2026), held at CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Bengaluru.
His paper, “Sustainable Transformation and Financial Markets: The Role of IBC in Green Technology Firms,” was praised by the review panel for its originality, research depth, and clarity of presentation. The conference committee also commended his contribution for its strong academic rigor and relevance to the conference theme.
GITAM leadership, including Prof. D. S. Rao, DVVSR Varma, and Dr.DivyaKirti Gupta, congratulated Dr. Sridhar on this achievement and encouraged him to continue his excellent academic work.
150 years of VandeMataram Celebrated at GITAM
GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad, celebrated the 150thanniversary of VandeMataram with a solemn and inspiring programme, including a mass singing of the complete song. The event paid tribute to the iconic composition that stirred India’s freedom movement and continues to symbolize national pride, unity, and devotion to the Motherland.
The celebrations were part of the nationwide observances approved by the Union Cabinet under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, marking 150 years of the national song with a year-long commemoration from November 2025 to November 2026.
Faculty members and students enthusiastically participated, reaffirming their respect for India’s rich cultural heritage and patriotic legacy.
