DGCA signs Historic MoU with Gati Shakti University for enhances quality in fields of Aviation Engineering and MRO

A historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the DGCA and Gati Shakti University—in the presence of Union Civil Aviation Minister Mr. Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu—with the aim of enhancing the quality of human resources in the fields of Aviation Engineering and MRO.

Union Minister for Civil Aviation K. Ram Mohan Naidu stated that the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ (Self-Reliant India)—which is surging towards the future under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi—relies heavily on capacity building and the creation of a future-ready workforce.

Furthermore, Minister Naidu expressed that he considers it an honor to participate in this initiative, contributing under the dedicated leadership of Honorable Union Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw. He noted that a historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between the DGCA and Gati Shakti University with the objective of enhancing scientific and technical expertise within the aviation sector.

This marks a significant step forward in elevating the quality of human resources within the Aviation Engineering and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) sectors. Union Minister Naidu explained that the primary objective is to attract more youth into this field by offering industry-aligned and accredited curricula in aircraft maintenance.
