BRICS Youth and Sports Ministers’ meeting set to begin in Visakhapatnam today
India host the BRICS Youth Ministers’ Meeting and the BRICS Sports Ministers’ Meeting in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh today. The BRICS Youth Ministers’ Meeting will be held today, while the BRICS Sports Ministers’ Meeting will take place tomorrow. The meetings will be chaired by Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, with Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Raksha Khadse also participating.
According to the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the Youth Ministers’ Meeting will focus on strengthening cooperation in youth development and empowerment, with discussions on education, skill development, entrepreneurship, wellbeing and sustainable development. The Sports Ministers’ Meeting will bring together Sports Ministers and Heads of Delegation from the 11 BRICS member countries to reaffirm their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation in sports.
