BJP Candidates Tarun Chugh, Rajneesh Agarwal File Nominations For RS Polls In MP: Lingamaneni Ramesh As JSP Candidate in AP
Both the BJP candidates from Madhya Pradesh for Rajya Sabha elections filed their nominations on Saturday. Party National General Secretary Tarun Chugh and Rajneesh Agarwal submitted their nomination papers before the Returning Officer at the Bhopal Assembly this afternoon. Senior party leaders Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, BJP State President Hemant Khandelwal and Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya were among those present on the occasion.
Before the filing of nominations, a meeting of BJP legislators was held at the party’s state office to discuss Election strategy and party unity. The last date for filing of nominations for three Rajya Sabha seats from Madhya Pradesh is June 8. Congress has fielded former Mandsaur MP Meenakshi Natarajan as its candidate.
Andhra Pradesh: JSP Names Lingamaneni Ramesh As Rajya Sabha Candidate
In Andhra Pradesh, Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan has announced Lingamaneni Ramesh as the party’s candidate for the upcoming Rajya Sabha election. The announcement was made through an official statement issued by the party. Lingamaneni Ramesh is scheduled to file his nomination papers today. According to the party, Ramesh has been associated with Jana Sena and its leadership since 2015.
