Andhra Pradesh Delegation Meets President Droupadi Murmu
A delegation from Andhra Pradesh, comprising Union Minister of State for Steel and Heavy Industries Bhupathiraju Srinivasa Varma, Minister of Education and IT in the Government of Andhra Pradesh Nara Lokesh and Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha members of the state, called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan today.

It was a privilege to meet Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu ji and convey the heartfelt gratitude of crores of people of Andhra Pradesh for approving the Bill that notifies Amaravati as our capital.
She graciously acknowledged the extraordinary resilience and sacrifice of our farmers, and the steadfast leadership of our Hon’ble CM Shri Chandrababu Naidu in bringing long-awaited clarity on the capital.
I also had the honour of presenting her a coffee table book that captures Amaravati’s journey and the inspiring story of our farmers’ struggle.
