Telangana: CM Revanth Reddy directs officials to expedite land acquisition necessary for Musi Rejuvenation Project

Chief Minister Shri Revanth Reddy has directed officials to expedite the land acquisition necessary for the Musi Rejuvenation Project. He instructed that a clear policy should be formulated regarding land pooling for land acquisition.

Chief Minister reviewed the #MusiRiverfrontDevelopment at a high-level meeting in the MCR HRD Bhoomi Pavilion. He said tenders should be called for Phase-2 of the Musi Riverfront Project as soon as possible.

He stated that clear guidelines should be developed for FTL, buffer zones, and acquisition of unassigned lands in the land acquisition process. He directed that precautions be taken to ensure no legal complications arise in this regard.

He said municipal commissioners should focus on loan facilities at very low interest rates for projects undertaken as part of the Musi Riverfront, and also review the issuance of TDRs every week.

He ordered that tenders be called immediately for the construction of the Onkhareswaraswami Temple near Gandipet Manchirevula. Similarly, he said extensive promotion should be provided for the Kotwal Guda Birds Park.

The meeting was attended by HMDA, GHMC, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation, Collectors of Ranga Reddy and Medchal districts, MRDCL MD, JMD, and other senior officials.
