IMD Forecasts Heavy Rainfall Across Peninsular India For Next 4–5 Days
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall spells over Peninsular India for the next 4-5 days. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is also expected over parts of Northeast India, including Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura tomorrow.
The IMD said that enhanced rainfall activity is very likely over Maharashtra till the 14th of this month.
The weather department further forecast heavy rainfall over Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Odisha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Telangana, Uttarakhand, Vidarbha and Uttar Pradesh for the next two to three days.
