CM Chandrababu, Union Minister K Rammohan Naidu Slams Congress-Led Opposition Over Women’s Reservation Bill

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu criticised the Congress-led opposition for blocking the Women’s Reservation Bill in Parliament. In a social media post, he said the move denied a historic step toward women’s empowerment and accused the opposition, led by the Indian National Congress, of political obstruction. Mr Naidu said the action deprived millions of women of equal representation and added that the nation would remember it.

He added that opposing the bill is not just political posturing but a direct denial of opportunity to millions of women across the country. The Minister emphasised that the Women’s Reservation Bill is about ensuring justice, dignity, and fair representation for women in the democratic process.
