IMD Forecasts Heavy Rainfall Conditions To India During Next 4 To 5 Days
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall conditions to prevail over East and Peninsular India during the next 4 to 5 days.
According to the weather agency, heavy to very heavy rainfall will likely be over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim today. Heavy rainfall conditions will be present over East Madhya Pradesh today as well as over Chhattisgarh, Bihar and Odisha during the next 3 to 4 days.
In Southern Peninsular India, these conditions will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Mahe, South Interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Telangana till tomorrow.
The IMD has also predicted light to moderate rain with thunderstorms over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh today and tomorrow.
