Uttarakhand: Kedarnath Dham Portals Open Amid Vedic Chants & Devotional Fervor
In Uttarakhand, portals of Kedarnath Dham were opened for devotees at 7 AM today in Rudraprayag district amid the echoing chants of Vedic mantras and special rituals.
Thousands of pilgrims from across India and abroad gathered to witness this divine moment. The air resonated with spiritual fervour as the sacred valley of Kedarnath came alive with devotion, faith, and celebration
A vibrant and devotional atmosphere prevails in and around the Kedarnath temple as thousands of devotees gather for the Yatra. This year, the temple has been magnificently adorned with 108 quintals of marigold flowers, adding to the spiritual grandeur of the sacred site.

To ensure a smooth and safe pilgrimage, extensive arrangements have been made for security, cleanliness, traffic management and healthcare. Police personnel, disaster response teams and medical staff have been strategically deployed across the temple premises.
Meanwhile, Rudraprayag DM Saurabh Gaharwar and SP Akshay Prahlad Konde visited Kedarnath to inspect the preparations. They reviewed the ongoing arrangements and issued necessary directives to the officials and staff to ensure the comfort and safety of all pilgrims.
