Telangana: Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka given key instructions on future expansion of Singareni
Singareni, which is at the forefront of the coal sector, should enter the critical minerals and non-conventional energy resources sector in the coming days and demonstrate its strength, and use its 136 years of mining experience to formulate sustainable plans for the future of the company.
On Friday, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka reviewed the future expansion projects of Singareni at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Secretariat. He directed that all the opportunities for exploration of graphite, lithium, copper and other minerals should be explored in the coming days.
The Deputy Chief Minister expressed satisfaction that consultant agencies have already been appointed for this purpose and are moving forward. He suggested that a committee be formed under the leadership of experienced officials in this regard and move forward.
He also said that since the use of non-conventional energy sources is increasing, comprehensive plans should be made to explore the opportunities available in Singareni areas and other parts of the country. He also ordered that action be taken on the arrangements for power and solar plants as per the MoU signed with Rajasthan.
Energy Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Singareni CMD N Balaram, Deputy Chief Minister’s Special Secretary Krishna Bhaskar, Singareni Executive Director Subhani and others participated in this meeting.
