India-Pak tension 24 Airports to be Closed Till 14th May

The government has extended the closure of 24 airports till 14th May amid the escalation between India-Pakistan.

In a social media post, Air India announced that its flight operations to and from Jammu, Srinagar, Leh, Jodhpur, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Bhuj, Jamnagar and Rajkot will be cancelled till 15th May.

It said, the passengers holding valid tickets for travel during this period will be offered a one-time waiver on rescheduling charges or a full refund for cancellations.

Several airlines have also issued travel advisories for passengers and asked for them to remain updated on airport closures and enhanced security protocols.
