Singareni’s first step towards business expansion is successful: CMD N. Balaram
The successful launch of the Naini coal mine in Odisha is the first step towards Singareni’s expansion to other states, and with the same spirit, Singareni CMD Shri N. Balaram said that it is ready to undertake more mines and other mineral products in other states and other countries. He said that with the launch of the Naini coal mine, everyone has confidence and belief that Singareni can expand anywhere.
On the occasion of the launch of the Naini coal block, officials, employees and trade union leaders felicitated CMD Shri N. Balaram at Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman said that behind the achievement of Naini coal block, there is a special initiative of the State Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, along with the cooperation of the Union Coal Minister, the Chief Minister of Odisha, local MLAs and officials of various departments, and he considers it a privilege to take on the responsibility of coordination in this process. He congratulated many former Singareni officials for their contribution during the long period of nine years.
He said that Singareni Company will now grow not only as a coal production company but also as a production company of other minerals, and will expand in the field of thermal power as well as renewable power. Shri Janak Prasad, Secretary General of the Representative Trade Union, Chairman of the State Minimum Wages Committee, and Shri Rajkumar, General Secretary of the Recognized Trade Union, said that the initiative of the State Government in the achievement of Naini and the special efforts of Chairman Shri N. Balaram are commendable and honored him.
In a video conference organized on this occasion, the General Managers of all areas, leaders of the officers’ association, leaders of the identification and representative associations, and representatives of CMOAI also praised the historic achievement of the Naini coal mine in Singareni, in which the Chairman’s efforts were immense. In this meeting, Executive Director (Coal Moment) Shri S.D.M.Subhani presented a souvenir photo of the Chairman with the first coal bundle taken from the Naini coal mine and honored him with a shawl.
In this meeting, Director (E&M) Shri Satyanarayana Rao, Director (Operations) Shri L.V.Suryanarayana Rao, Director (P.P.&Pa) Shri Venkateswarlu, G.M. (CPP) Shri Manohar, heads of corporate departments, GM (Marketing) Shri N.V. Rajasekhar Rao from Singareni Bhavan, Hyderabad and GMs of the respective areas participated.
